How to Manage Google Merchant Center from Your iPhone or Android Phone

Updated October 31, 2026 · By the Merchant Center for Google team

Google offers no dedicated Merchant Center app, and the website is built for a large screen. If you run an online store, you still want to know about disapprovals before they cost you a weekend of sales.

Option 1: the Merchant Center website in a mobile browser

You can sign in at merchants.google.com on your phone. It works for a quick look, but tables, filters and the product editor are hard to use on a small screen, and you get no notifications when products become disapproved.

Option 2: e-mail notifications

Merchant Center sends e-mails for account-level issues and some product problems. They are useful, but they arrive late and rarely tell you which products are affected or how to fix them.

Option 3: a dedicated mobile app

Merchant Center for Google is an independent app for iPhone, iPad and Android that uses the official Google Merchant API. After you sign in with Google:

Signing in: tick the checkbox

On Google’s consent screen, the permission “Manage your product listings and accounts for Google Shopping” is unticked by default. Tick it and tap Continue; without it, no app can read your products.
